Cardinals Announce 2019 Spring Schedule

Spring schedule features three home matches
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville women's soccer head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes has announced the Cards' spring 2019 schedule highlighted by three home matches.
The Cardinals will start spring play on Feb. 24th against Cincinnati. Louisville will play that match indoors at the Trager Center.
Louisville will open up the spring slate at Lynn Stadium on March 23rd as they host Saint Louis. The next week the Cards will travel to Butler for a match up on March 30th .
The Cards will play a neutral match against Ole Miss on April 6th in Franklin, Tenn. Louisville will wrap up the spring season on April 13th as they host Illinois in Lynn Stadium
Louisville ended the 2018 season with a 12-7 overall record and finished tied for fifth in the ACC with a record of 6-4. The Cardinals advanced to the NCAA Tournament before falling to second-seeded Tennessee in Knoxville.
The Cardinals were led offensively by junior Brooklynn Rivers, freshman Maisie Whitsett and sophomore Emina Ekic. Ekic was named a second team All-American and earned first team All-ACC honors after finishing the regular season with six goals and five assists. Rivers earned third team All-ACC honors and leads the team with eight goals and six assists for 22 points. Whitsett had an impressive rookie year with nine goals and two assists for 20 points.
Admission is free for each of Louisville's spring matches.
