Women's Soccer Announces Summer Camp Dates
February 21, 2019 | Women's Soccer
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville women's soccer head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes has announced the dates for the Cardinals' 2019 Future Skills Academy and Summer Elite Camp.
The Future Skills Academy has one camp scheduled this summer. The camp is scheduled for July 15-19 from 9:00 a.m. til noon. The Future Cardinals camp will focus on the development of ball mastery, first touch, and speed of play. The camp will focus on teaching the tools young players (ages 7-13) need to develop in their game for the next level. The camp size will be kept small so the players get as much individual attention as possible with the staff. The focus of the camp is time spent on the ball to improve comfort ability and skill on the ball.
The Elite ID Camp is scheduled for July 21st from 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The is designed to provide advanced level players ages 13-18 with a one day training environment that mimics a high level college soccer program. The camp will include a technically and tactically rigorous training session run by the Louisville Soccer Coaching Staff, a Strength and Conditioning Session run by Louisville Sports Performance Staff coaches, full field 11v11 games, as well as an NCAA Division I compliance informational session and lunch with the Louisville players and coaches. Space in this camp will be limited to ensure players receive individual attention.
All campers must have medical insurance coverage.
