LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The No. 9/12 University of Louisville divers are set to face a solid group of ranked squads to the Greensboro Aquatic Center (GAC) at the NC State/GAC Invitational. The meet is set to run Thursday through Saturday in Greensboro, N.C., with prelims at 9:30 a.m. each day and finals sessions at 5:30 p.m. each night.
Louisville's Molly Fears, Michaela Sliney, Brianna Price, Ellie Dodd, Abigail Erickson, and Abigail Andrews will represent the Cardinals on the women's side. Sean Riley, Kivanc Gur, Daniel Pinto, Logan Smith, Sky Geovanni and Adam Sneden will dive for the Cardinal men. Besides the solid competition, it will give the Louisville diving squad experience in the venue where they will be competing for the ACC Championships in February.
"This is a great opportunity for our divers to compete in a prelims/finals diving format in preparation for ACCs and NCAAs." said Ryan Rougeux, UofL diving coach. "This is also a chance for our freshmen divers to practice and compete at the pool that hosts our conference championship meet. We are looking forward to some great competition amongst ACC rivals Duke and NC State as well as SEC and Big 10 teams Auburn and Wisconsin.
