About Louisville
Last time out, Grace Oglesby won both butterfly events as the Cardinals fell to No. 4/18 Indiana and No. 2/8 Texas in a two-day tri-meet. Sophie Cattermole set a new pool record in the 1650 freestyle with the fastest time in the nation so far this season and Daniel Pinto broke the program record on the 3-meter board in the Cardinals' sweep of No. 18/23 Notre Dame on Nov. 1. Louisville had another top-25 matchup on Oct. 24, winning 15 events despite falling to No. 10/3 Tennessee.
Â
History was made last season for the Cardinals as they became the first ACC program in history to have both its men's and women's teams finish among the top-five in the team standings at the NCAA Championships in the same year. The women's team recorded their highest finish in program history with a fourth-place showing at NCAAs while the men's team finished a program-high fifth place. The Cardinal men were the team runners-up at the ACC Championships and the women secured third place.
