Senior: Oglesby concluded her final year as a Cardinal as one of the best butterflyers in program history as well as in the country. For the fourth-straight season, she qualified individually for the NCAA Championships in the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly before the meet was cancelled. At the ACC Championships, she successfully defended her 200 butterfly (1:53.70) title for the third year while also finishing third in the 100 butterfly (51.74) and 15th in the 200 individual medley (1:59.70). Oglesby also split a 23.13 and 51.10 on UofL’s third-place 200 and 400 medley relays at the conference meet. She won the 200 butterfly (1:54.47) and 200 individual medley (1:57.93) at the Purdue Invitational and swept both butterfly events at the SMU Classic. At the Toyota U.S. Open, she raced to 13th in the 100-meter butterfly (59.51) and 14th in the 200-meter butterfly (2:13.60). Oglesby racked up 11 top-three finishes throughout the dual meet season, including a sweep of both butterfly races against Indiana and Texas. She earned the prestigious ACC Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarship Award for her performance in the pool, classroom, and community. For her performances in both the pool and in the classroom, Oglesby was named to the All-ACC Academic Team and awarded ACC Honor Roll and CSCAA Scholar All-America honors. She was also named to the CSCAA All-American team in the 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly, and both medley relays. Oglesby was named the ACC Swimmer of the Week on Oct. 15.
Junior: As a junior, Oglesby put together her most impressive season yet for the Cards with stellar performances throughout the course of the year. At the NCAA Championships, Oglesby earned a bronze medal in the 200 fly with a time of 1:50.80, becoming the fifth-fastest performer in history in the event. She also added All-American honors in the 100 fly with an eighth place finish in a time of 51.10. Additionally, Oglesby was instrumental to the Cards’ fifth place finishes in both the 200 medley and 400 medley relays at NCAAs. At the ACC Championships, she won her second consecutive title in the 200 fly with a time of 1:52.81, while taking silver in the 100 fly (51.02) and bronze in the 200 IM (1:56.33). Oglesby also earned a silver medal as a member of the Cards’ 400 medley relay team at ACCs. At the IU Invitational, she put together a strong meet, winning both the 100 (50.75) and 200 fly (1:52.64) to capture ACC Swimmer of the Week honors. Additionally, she swept both butterfly events to help the Cards win the team title at the SMU Classic. Oglesby won the 200 fly at every dual meet, including the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. She also tallied 17 top-three finishes throughout the course of the dual meet season. For her efforts in the classroom, Oglesby was named to the All-ACC Academic Team. At Phillips 66 Nationals, Oglesby finaled in a pair of events where she finished 11th in the 100m fly (58.73) and 18th in the 200m fly (2:10.88).Sophomore: Oglesby had a breakout year for the Cardinals in her sophomore season, finishing in the top-eight in both of her individual events at the NCAA Championships. She placed seventh in both the 100 (51.25) and 200 (1:53.46) fly, scoring 24 points for Louisville. She was also a member of the record-breaking 400 medley relay with a fly split of 50.66, as well as the fifth place 200 medley relay (22.76). At the ACC Championships, she scored 87 points and won titles in both the 100 (51.11) and 200 fly (1:53.87). Additionally, she was a member of the gold medal winning 400 medley relay and placed seventh in the 200 IM (1:57.48). At the Winter National Championships, she helped the Cardinals to a collective first place finish with her fifth place finish in the 100 fly (51.69) and a silver medal performance in the 200 fly (1:54.28). She also qualified for two finals at the Phillips 66 National Championships, taking 16th in the 100-meter fly (59.60) and 20th in the 200-meter fly (2:13.23). In the dual meet season, Oglesby won the 200 fly three times against Notre Dame, Kentucky, and Indiana. For her performances both in the pool and in the classroom, Oglesby was named to the All-ACC Academic Team and was awarded CSCAA Scholar All-America honors.
Freshman: Grace made an immediate impact in her debut season for the Cardinals, swimming the butterfly leg for the medley relays at NCAAs and qualifying individually in both the 100 and 200 fly. Her 51.66 split in the 400 medley relay powered the Cardinals to a fourth place finish at NCAAs, and she finished 15th in the 100 fly with a 52.10. At the ACC Championships, Grace totaled 58 points, placing fourth in the 200 fly (1:55.31), fifth in the 100 fly (52.30), and 18th in the 200 IM (1:59.43). She also was a part of the 400 medley relay squad, splitting a 52.44 on the fly leg. She qualified for the World Championship Trials, she raced in the 200-meter IM (2:21.08), 100-meter fly (1:00.79), 200-meter fly (2:17.11), and made finals in the 50-meter fly (27.32), placing 19th. At the Arena Pro Swim Series in Atlanta, she competed in the 200-meter IM (2:24.00), 100-meter free (59.31), 50-meter free (26.74), and placed 16th in the 100-meter fly (1:01.12) and 200-meter fly (2:16.86). Highlights from Grace’s dual season include a third place finish in the 100 fly (53.64) at the SMU Classic and a win in the 100 fly in the dual against Missouri. Against Kentucky, Grace also had two strong swims to place second in both the 100 (54.92) and 200 fly (2:00.01).
Prep: Oglesby picked the hometown Cardinals as she is from nearby Goshen, Ky. where she attended North Oldham High School and competed for Cardinal Aquatics. Oglesby was one of the top recruits in the country after narrowly missing the National Public (and overall) High School Record in the 100 Fly last spring. In 2015 alone, she was named the Kentucky High School Most Outstanding Competitor after winning both the 100 Fly and 50 Free and setting new Kentucky State records in both events. She was a five-time All-American and an 18&U finalist at the Phillips 66 National Championships. Outside of the pool, Oglesby is a two-time Scholastic All-American, a member of NAHS and Beta Club and serves on the NOHS Women's Leadership Board and as a NOHS Mustang Mentor. Her best time in the 100-fly is 51.75 and 1:56.32 in the 200-fly and 22.92 in the 50-free.
