LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Louisville's Mollie Rouse helped England secure a place in the quarter finals of the IFA Women's U20 World Cup. Trailing by a single goal at halftime, the Young Lionesses responded remarkably after the break with five goals in the span of 20 minutes on Sunday afternoon.
Rouse played every minute in the match. The Young Lionesses sensationally turned the match around in the second half with six unanswered goals, including a hat-trick from Lauren Hemp.
The Young Lionesses will face the Netherlands in the knockout round on Friday, Aug. 17.
