
Women's Soccer Emina Ekic Wraps Up U.S. U-19 Training Camp

Ekic started both games for the U.S.
Incoming Louisville women's soccer freshman Emina Ekic and the U.S. Under-19 Women's National Team travelled to the Czech Republic from June 5-14 for its first trip abroad this year.
The trip featured two international matches against the full Czech Republic Women's National Team (which is ranked 36th in the world) on June 13, and then the Czech Republic U-19 WNT on June 110. Both matches were played at Stadium Admira in Slavoj Kobylisy in the northern part of Prague.
Ekic, a Louisville native, was one of 20 players have been called up for the trip, seven of them currently enrolled in college and the rest currently playing youth club. She started in both games for the U.S. They fell 2-1 on Saturday to the Czech Republic U-19 WNT then fell 5-2 to the Czech Republic Women's National Team on Tuesday.
