Women's Swimming Set to Compete at NCAA Championships

Cards qualified in 11 of 13 events and all five relays.
The No.-10-ranked University of Louisville has eight swimmers and a diver who have qualified. The Cardinals qualified all five relays as well. Â
Rachael Bradford Feldman (400 IM, 200 breast), Mallory Comerford (500 free, 200 free, 100 free), Andrea Cottrell (100 breast, 200 breast), Casey Fanz (50 free, 100 free), Abigail Houck (200 Free, 200 fly), Alina Kendzior (100 back, 200 back), Grace Oglesby (100 fly, 200 fly) , Lainey Visscher (100 free) and diver Molly Fears will make the trip to Indianapolis. Additional relay swimmers include Nastja Govejsek, Sophie Cattermole, Alex Sellers and Avery Braunecker, Individual qualifiers can be added in events where they have a B-cut time as well. Mallory Comerford is seeded second in the 100 free, third in the 200 free and 10th in the 500 free. Andrea Cottrell is seeded fifth in the 100 breast and seventh for the 200 breast.
A total of 322 participants (281 swimmers and 41 divers) will compete in the championships. Swimmers qualified for the championships by meeting the established minimum time for the events in which they entered. Divers were determined by performances at the Zone Diving Meets held March 6-11. The complete list of swimmers competing in the championships is available at www.usaswimming.org/ncaa. Selected divers were announced Sunday, March 12.
ESPN3.com will stream the championships finals sessions live on Friday and Saturday. Wednesday's evening session, Thursday's sessions along with the morning sessions on Friday and Saturday will be streamed live on NCAA.com and indianasportscorp.org/ncaasd. Additionally, ESPNU will air a two-hour broadcast via tape delay at 7 p.m. Eastern time, Tuesday, March 28. Live results for the championships will be available on NCAA.com
