Men's Swimming and Diving Head to ACC Championships

The 2017 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Swimming Championship will begin Monday, February 27, and continue through Thursday, March 2, at the McAuley Aquatics Center in Atlanta, Georgia on the campus of Georgia Tech.

Defending ACC Champion NC State enters competition as the top-ranked team in the nation, according to the latest CSCAA poll. The Wolfpack are led by head coach Braden Holloway, who just captured the ACC Women's title last week—the program's first in 37 years.

NC State has remained undefeated in both nonconference and ACC-play (3-0, 2-0). No. 9 Louisville (2-0) and No. 21 Florida State (2-0) are the only other two squads to stay undefeated in conference competition. Also featured in the CSCAA poll are No. 12 Virginia (4-1), No. 19 Notre Dame (2-2) and No. 23 Duke (1-2).

A live video stream of event finals will be available on ACC Network Extra on Tuesday through Thursday, starting at 6 p.m. Rowdy Gaines will be on hand to anchor coverage, a three-time Olympic Gold medalist and a member of the both the U.S. Swimming and International Swimming Hall of Fame. Gaines will complement the calls of Sam Gore, who covered the women's championship, will return to the mic for play-by-play.

There is no charge for admission to the 2017 ACC Men's Swimming Championship.
