Women's Soccer Announces Dates for 2017 Summer Camps
February 21, 2017 | Women's Soccer
University of Louisville women's soccer head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes has announced the details for the Cardinals' 2017 Future Skills Academy and the Elite Camp.
The Future Skills Academy has two camps scheduled this summer. The first camp is June 19-23 while the second camp is July 17-21 from 9:00 a.m. til noon. The Future Cardinals camp will focus on the development of ball mastery, first touch, and speed of play. The camp will focus on teaching the tools young players need to develop in their game for the next level. The camp size will be kept small so the players get as much individual attention as possible with the staff. The focus of the camp is time spent on the ball to improve comfort ability and skill on the ball.
The Elite Camp is scheduled for July 23 from 9:30 a.m. til 4:00 p.m. The Summer Elite Camp is designed to provide advanced level players ages 13-20 with a one day intensive training environment that will include on field technical and tactical sessions, as well as compliance informational session and an introduction to strength and conditioning. Space in this camp will be limited to ensure players receive individual attention.
All campers must have medical insurance coverage.
