Two Cardinals have been invited to the Canadian National Team U18-U20 Identification Camp
LOUISVILLE, KY. -- Louisville's Sarah Feola and Nadege L'Esperance have been invited to the Canadian National Team U18-U20 Identification Camp held in Vancouver, BC on February 9-13. Both Feola and L'Esperance have represented their countries in the latest youth World Cups.
"It's always an honor and a privilege to have an opportunity to represent your country and it is no surprise that Sarah and Nadege have been invited back with Team Canada for an upcoming camp," said head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes. "The experiences you gain from playing internationally are invaluable and as much as we will miss them while they are at camp- we know they will benefit greatly from that environment."
Feola finished her freshman season with the Cardinals in the fall. She started up top for the Cardinals in 10 matches, while playing in 16 matches. She finished the year with two goals and two assists for six points. Feola played for the U20 Canadian team at the World Cup in Papa New Guinea this fall.
L'Esperance joined the Cardinals this spring and will begin her freshman season in the fall of 2017. In the fall, L'Esperance played for the U17 World Cup in Jordan.
