
Women's Soccer Adds Feola and Florek to the 2016 Signee Class

Sarah Feola and Bailey Florek will join the Cardinals in the fall
University of Louisville head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes announced the addition of two standout student-athletes to the 2016 recruiting class. Sarah Feola and Bailey Florek will bolster the Cardinals' offense and defense next season.
The addition of Florek and Feola gives the 2016 recruiting class nine offensive and three defensive players. On offense, the class is made up of six midfielders and four forwards. Defensively, the Cardinals added four to the back line and one goalkeeper.
Sarah Feola
Midfielder | 5-8 | Quebec, Canada
Accomplishments:
Earned the Quebec Golden Boot Award her senior year … Helped guide her team to the U17 Quebec Elite League Champions, scoring 27 goals … Helped team to the silver medal in the 2013 Canadian Championship … Helped the Canadian U20 National team win a silver medal last year in Honduras … Finished her junior year with 26 goals, winning the Quebec scoring title.

Bailey Florek
Defender | 5-9 | Colorado Springs, Colo.
Accomplishments:
Played three years of high school soccer while also playing for the Pride Rebels Club team … Her club team was the top-ranked U18 team in 2015 … Was the team captain her senior year … Earned first team all-conference honors her sophomore year … Helped guide her team to a second place finish in the state cup her senior year.

She is a true left footed defender with a tremendous understanding of zonal defending concepts and a willingness to get forward and initiate and support our attack.
