Gabrielle Vincent Earns All-ACC Honors

LOUISVILLE, KY.-- University of Louisville's sophomore defender Gabrielle Vincent has been named to the women's soccer All-ACC third team, as voted upon by the ACC's 14 head coaches and announced on Thursday.

Vincent, a starting center back for the Cardinals, was second on the team with eight points this season. She tallied three goals and two assists on the season. She also helped the Cardinal defense to five shutouts this season.

She was named the NSCAA and ACC Player of the Week on Aug. 30 after finishing the week with seven points on three goals and an assist in 4-0 wins over UAB and Toledo last week. She scored her first career hat trick against UAB with goals in the 32^nd,72^nd and 84^th minutes leading the Cardinals.

On the defensive end, she helped hold the Blazers without a shot for the entire game while Louisville secured the shutout. Later that week she helped the Louisville to another shutout against Toledo and assisted on a goal to teammate Alison Price.
