Cards close out Classic in style
The University of Louisville used nine NCAA B-cuts and three meet records to amass 363 points to win the SMU Classic Saturday night in Dallas.

The Cardinals topped Missouri (303, UCLA (303), FSU (264), SMU (244) and TCU (197) for the win.
In the first race of the evening, the Cards set a meet record in the 200-medley relay with a 1:3.25 posted by Alina Kendzior (25.34), Andrea Cottrell (27.26), Kelsi Worrell (23.16) Â and Andrea Kneppers (22.49).

In the 500-freestyle, Andrea Kneppers posted a 4:44.69 in the B-final and freshman Mallory Comerford won the A-final in 4:46.22.

In the 200-breast, Andrea Cottrell put up a blazing time of 2:08.63 to set a meet record and post the fastest time in the NCAA this season. Rachael Bradford Feldman was second in the B-final, going 2:11.67.

In the 200-back, Alina Kendzior was fourth in the A-final, boarding a 1:58.05 and Abigail Houck was fifth in the B-final in 2:03.26.

Diver Andrea Acquista was second in the 3-meter diving, with a score of 279.90.

In the 100-freestyle, Kelsi Worrell went 48.60 for the win in the A-final beating the meet record by .21 set in 1997 by Olympic silver medallist Martina Moravcova. Freshman Mallory Comerford was second in the B-final in 50.18.

In the 200-fly, Abigail Houck was third, going 2:02.29Â and Marah Pugh took top honors in the B-final with a 1:58.87.

Freshman Rachael Bradford Feldman was under two minutes with a 1:59.49 for the win in the 200-IM and Alina Kendzior was second in the B-final with a 2:03.34.

The foursome of Mallory Comerford (23.57), Kelsi Worrell (21.99), Andrea Kneppers (22.59) and Andrea Cottrell (22.80) combined to board a 1:30.95.Â
