Women's Soccer Announces 2014 Spring Schedule

The Louisville women's soccer team and head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes announced the Cardinals' 2014 spring match schedule, which includes three home matches.
"Our spring schedule kicks off with a challenging and fun 7 v 7 indoor event at the University of Illinois and then we return home for three great full sided matches against some excellent opponents," said Ferguson-Dayes. "With the departure of such a large class, we have a small roster this spring, which will give all of our younger players some much needed game experience."
The Cardinals will begin spring play on Sunday, March 1 at the University of Illinois for a one day indoor tournament. The tournament will be played in a 7v7 format. Louisville will then play three matches at home, beginning on March 22 against Middle Tennessee State at 1:00 p.m. in Cardinal Park. Seven days later, the Cardinals will host Ohio State on March 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Cardinal Park.
The Cards will wrap up the spring season on April 5 against Tennessee at 1:00 p.m. in Cardinal Park. The match will be the final one played in Cardinal Park.
The 2014 fall collegiate season will feature the Cardinals' move to the Atlantic Coast Conference as well as the opening of the University of Louisville's new home facility -- Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium.
