
Trio of Televised Matches Announced for Women's Soccer

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's soccer team will play three televised matches this season, including two national telecasts and one statewide telecast.
The Cardinals' first televised match of 2012 will be this Friday's home showdown with rival Kentucky during the Courtyard by Marriott Louisville Airport Cardinal Classic. Louisville and UK are scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m., ET on WHAS-TV 11.2. Available throughout the state of Kentucky, the game can also be seen on Insight channel 432 and Comcast channel 207.
Louisville's first national telecast is set for Friday, Sept. 14 at 4 p.m., ET when ESPNU will televise the Cardinals' BIG EAST Conference opener at Notre Dame. U of L will also host a nationally televised game as CBS Sports broadcasts the Cardinals' BIG EAST matchup against Georgetown on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 1 p.m., from Cardinal Park.
Up next, the Cardinals will host the 2012 Courtyard by Marriott Louisville Airport Cardinal Classic this weekend at Cardinal Park. Louisville will open the event on Friday at 7:30 p.m., ET against Kentucky, while Toledo will take on Samford in the first match of the day at 5 p.m. On Sunday, Samford and Kentucky will begin the day's doubleheader at noon before Louisville returns to action against Toledo at 2:30 p.m.
