Louisville's Exeter Named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Louisville women's soccer sophomore forward Christine Exeter was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after her strong performances last weekend.

Exeter (Pickering, Ont./Pickering HS) scored a goal in each of the Cardinals' two games last week and has scored a goal in three straight games overall. Last Friday, her goal with 2:15 left in regulation evened the score at 2-2 and allowed the Cardinals to earn a BIG EAST point with a tie at UConn.

On Sunday, she scored the only goal of the match in a 1-0 win at Providence. Overall, Exeter leads the Cardinals with four goals this season to go along with two assists this season and she has 11 career goals overall.

Up next, Louisville will return home to host Marquette (Sept. 30, 7 p.m., ET) and USF (Oct. 2, 1 p.m., ET) in a pair of BIG EAST Conference games at Cardinal Park.
