
Women's Soccer Earns Spring Win at Indiana

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Louisville women's soccer team continued its spring schedule with a 1-0 road win over Indiana last Friday night at Yeagley Field.
Jennifer Jones, a team captain and senior for the 2011 season, beat an IU defender and bent the ball in the upper 90 from 22 yards out for the only goal of the game. Goalkeeper Chloe Kiefer played all 90 minutes in net and recorded the shutout for the Cardinals.
The Cardinals will continue their spring schedule at Ohio State on Saturday at 1 p.m., before concluding the spring at home against Miami (Ohio) on April 8 at 6 p.m., at Cardinal Park.
