Women's Soccer Players Earn Recognition from TopDrawerSoccer.com

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Louisville women's soccer players Christine Exeter and Angelika Uremovich were listed among this week's TopDrawerSoccer.com National Top 100 Freshmen, while Emily Cardell and Taylor Vancil were included in the latest Top 20 list for the National Division of the BIG EAST Conference.
Exeter, from Pickering, Ont., is ranked 70th on the National Top 100 Freshmen this week, while Uremovich, from Oakville, Ont., is ranked 84th on the list. Uremovich leads the 18th-ranked and unbeaten Cardinals with four goals and 9 points through the first five games this season. Exeter is second on the team with three goals and third with her six points.
Vancil, a sophomore goalkeeper from South Elgin, Ill., is ranked at No. 12 in the National Division of the BIG EAST, while Cardell is ranked 20th overall. Vancil earned her third shutout of the season and was spectacular in goal in the Cardinals' 2-0 win over rival Kentucky on Thursday night. Through five games this season, Vancil has allowed just two goals and has 20 saves overall. Cardell, a sophomore from Cincinnati, Ohio, has one goal this season with three starts for Louisville.
