2009 Louisville Women's Soccer Recruiting Class Profiles 
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's soccer program will add eight new faces to the program in 2009 as the Cards announced their spring recruiting class on Wednesday.
The incoming class is extremely diverse in terms of position (three defenders, two midfielders, two forwards, and a goalkeeper) and geography (three players are from Michigan, two from Illinois, one from Ohio, one from North Carolina, and one from Ontario, Canada).
Included in this highly touted class are national team players from the United States and Canada, as well as a number of players who have played on State and Regional ODP Teams.
Topdrawersoccer.com lists four members of the class in its top 100 US recruits, and two of those four are listed in the top 50 US recruits.
University of Louisville head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes says of the 2009 class, "We are absolutely thrilled about our 2009 class and know they will be able to make an immediate impact on our program. They all have extensive experience at the National, regional and club team levels which will allow them to make the transition in to the very competitive Big East Conference and help us maintain our status as a nationally competitive program."
