Women's Soccer Will Make Up DePaul Match Tuesday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's soccer team will host DePaul Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in Cardinal Park to make up the match that was canceled last Friday night due to adverse weather conditions.
In the Friday match, the Cardinals were leading the Blue Demons 2-0 in the 63rd minute on a pair of goals by junior Jen Avila when lightning halted play. After two and a half hours, it was determined that the game would be canceled. Had the match made it to the 70 minute mark, it would have been official.
None of the statistics from the Friday match count toward the season statistics, and the Tuesday meeting will be a standard regulation 90-minute match with a 0-0 score to begin play.
The 27th-ranked Cardinals are 6-1-1 overall and 1-1-0 in the BIG EAST.
