"Lindsay has received some fantastic honors this past year and deservedly so," said Ferguson. "She is a wonderful soccer player and we look forward to her to compete to play in the midfield or as forward. She is a very good playmaker and that will really add some creativity for us in the attacking third of the field."
Nikki Bonacorsi plays for Carmel United Club and was a member of Carmel High School's two Indiana State Championship teams. A member of Carmel United's State Championship team, she was a High School Team Mentor, team captain and a regional qualifier. She is the daughter of John and Lisa Bonacorsi.
"Nikki is extremely technical and composed on the ball and will look to compete for us in midfield and as a forward," said Ferguson, who will be at the helm of the Cardinals for her seventh season. "Nikki has played for both a good high school and club team and those experiences will certainly help her at the collegiate level."
Lindsey Fox is another Carmel United Club member but she played for Columbus North High School. She was a four-time first team all-conference performer and earned first team all-district kudos as well. An ISCA first team all-stater, she was a Republic Player of the Year for three years. "Lindsey is a proven goal scorer and this is exactly what we will look for her to do at Louisville," said Ferguson. She is a fantastic student, a soccer junkie and we can't wait to have the opportunity to coach her."

"Tierney comes to us with a very high level of club, high school and ODP experience," said Ferguson. "She is a versatile player who will compete for us in multiple positions. Katie Owen is on the Carmel United state championship and regional qualifying team. A first team all-conference, all-district team member, she was also named to the first team all-state team. She was Avon High School's most valuable player the past two years and holds the single season assist record with 15. She is the daughter of Bill and Maureen Owen.
"Katie will give us much needed depth at the back as well in the defensive midfield position," said Ferguson. "She is very coachable, extremely tough in a tackle, great in the air and we are excited about her potential."

"Sara is a pure left back at both the collegiate and national team level, " said Ferguson. "She is a great passer, very strong in the tackle, tough to beat 1 v. 1 and has great experience with the Canadian Youth National Team that will undoubtedly help her at the college level. Sara will be able to make an immediate impact on our program and help us to gain the national attention we are seeking."
