
Craft Named First Team All-Region

MISSION, Kansas - University of Louisville women's soccer player Jamie Craft has been named to the NSCAA/adidas NCAA Division I All-Great Lakes Region First Team for the second consecutive season. Craft, a senior forward, paced the Cardinals with nine goals and 24 points in the most successful season in school history.
"Jamie has had a fabulous career and being named All-Region is a wonderful honor for her," said Head Coach Karen Ferguson.
"She will be a difficult player for us to replace because she has had such an impact on our program."
Craft finishes her career second in goals (42) and points (99), first in shots (229) and tied for first in games played (77) in Cardinal history.
Craft is far and away the most decorated player in program history, earning All-Conference honors all four seasons, including First Team three times. This marks the fourth time she has earned All-Region, twice making the first team, earning second team honors as a sophomore and she was also a member of the All-Region Freshman team. That same season she was Conference USA Freshman of the Year.
Craft's name appears in the top five at Louisville in 10 different offensive categories.
The Cardinals ended the year with a 13-4-3 record, the most wins in school history and a .725 winning percentage, also tops in Cardinal history, leading to a birth in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history.
