Junior: During the BIG EAST Championships, Stephanie competed in the 200-breast and the 200- and 400-IM. In the 200-IM she finished in fifth place with a time of 2:03.12. She was also able to secure a fifth-place finish in the 400-IM, clocking in at 4:20.57. Against West Virginia, Stephanie swam to a second-place finish in the 400-IM with a time of 4:27.66, and against Pittsburgh her 200-IM time of 2:07.89 placed her third.
Sophomore: Stephanie swam the 200- and 400- IM and 200-breast for the Cardinals during her sophomore season. She set lifetime bests in the 400-IM with a time of 4:22.88 and 200-breast stroke with a time of 2:21.58 against Indiana.
Freshman: Stephanie set her lifetime bests in the 200-IM and the 200-breast as a freshman. She qualified for BIG EAST Championship in the 200- and 400-IM and the 200-breast.
Prep: Stephanie comes to U of L from North Oconee High School where she was coached by Scott Burrell. In 2007 she was the runner-up at the Georgia Senior State Championships in the grueling 400-IM, turning in a time of 5:01 (LCM). Besides being her high school's team captain, she also attained All-Area Team, All-American and three-time MVP honors. Stephanie has a Spring National qualification time in the 400-IM, but brings to the Cardinals a wealth of athleticism, having been a four-time letter-winner in Varsity tennis and a two-time letter-winner in basketball. She also swam for the Athens Bulldog Swim team where she was coached by Harvey Humphries. She was a two-time Scholastic All-American and member of NHS. Her favorite sporting memory was when she swam the first three events of a high schoolmeet,winning them all, then immediatelyleft the pool and shot a game-winning threepoint shot with five seconds left in the game.
Personal: She is the daughter of Alan and Laura Juncker. Birthday is October 4, 1989. Major is sports administration.
