Junior: Nicole qualified for NCAAs in the 50- and 100- free as well as the relays. In the 200-free relay, she swam the second leg with a split of 22.48 as the team finished 11th in the nation (1:30.26). Nicole was named All-BIG EAST as a junior. At the BIG EAST Championship, she competed in the 200-free relay in which she had a split time of 22.43 and the team finished in 1:30.08. This relay team came in first place, set a pool record and made the national B cut. In the 50-yard free, Nicole finished with a time of 22.89. This time earned her fourth place and made the national B cut.
Sophomore: At the NCAAs, Nicole swam the fly leg in the 200-medley relay (1:40.38). Nicole was named All-BIG EAST. She helped make school history by finalling in the 200-free relay at the NCAAs, when she swam the second leg (22.24) as the Cardinals went 1:28.44. That same foursome won the 200-free relay at the BIG EAST in 1:29.46 with Landisch swimming second. As part of the 200-medley relay team, Nicole (24.39) helped set a school record when the foursome touched the wall in 1:39.64. She made the BIG EAST A-final in the 50-free, finishing fourth in 22.65. She made the consols in the 100- fly, where she finished 16th.
Freshman: As a freshman, Nicole proved herself as a consistent scorer turning in top times throughout 2008. At the BIG EAST Championships she placed 4th in the 50-Free with a 23.16, which was a new school record. She was also a member of the record-setting, All- Conference 200-medley and 200-freestyle relay squads. Her dual meet season featured a first place finish against WKU in the 100- fly that put her name in the School's record books once again with a 55.98.
Prep: Nicole joined the Cards from Arrowhead High School where she was coached by Bob Jenkyns. She was the Wisconsin State High School Champion in the 50-free, 100-fly and 400- Free Relay. In 2005, she won titles in the 50-free, 200-Medley Relay and 200-Free Relay. She helped set a Wisconsin High School and National Public School Record in the 200-Medley Relay. Landisch also help lead Arrowhead to four consecutive team championships. She also swam for the Lake County Swim Team where she was coached by Steve Bowman. At the NCSA Junior Nationals in 2007, she was the runner-up in the 50-free and set a new meet record as part of a 200-medley relay team. She won titles in the 50-free, 100-breast, 100- fly and 200-fly at the Wisconsin Club State Championships. Landisch currently holds the Wisconsin Senior State record in the 50 free. She has senior national times in the 50-free and 100-fly.
Personal: She is the daughter of Robert and Nancy Landisch. Major is history. She was born June, 24, 1989.
