Junior: As a junior, Kristi competed in the 100-breast in the BIG EAST championships. During the dual meet season, she came in second in the 100-breast against Kentucky and Indiana. Against Indiana, Kristi set a new personal best in the 100-breast with a time of 1:04.40. She also placed fourth against West Virginia and Miami of Ohio in the same event.
Sophomore: Kristi qualified for the BIG EAST Championship in the breaststroke and individual medley. She set a lifetime best in the 200-IM at the pool at IUPUI.
Freshman: As a freshman, Kristi was a valuable asset to the Cardinal breaststrokers, turning in times in the 100-breast that consistently ranked her top-16 in the BIG EAST Conference. She had a breakout meet at the Purdue Invitational when she set her lifetime bests in the 50-free, the 100-breast and the 200-breast. She saved her best swim in the 200-IM for the BIG EAST Championships where she swam 2:11.16. She is the recipient of the prestigious 2008 Iron Cardinal Award.
Prep: Kristi came to U of L from St. Francis DeSales High School in Westerville, Ohio where she swam for Kelly Janda at New Albany Swim Club where she swam for Brad Burgett. Kristi was the 2007 Ohio State High School Champion in the 100-breast where she posted a time of 1:04.80. In 2006, she was the runner-up in the 100-breast at the state high school meet. She was an All-American in 2005 and 2007. She received All-Conference, All-State and team MVP honors during her four years at Desales.
Personal: She is the daughter of Tony and Donna Eramo. Majoring in biology. She was born April 16, 1989.
