Junior: Wilmoth swam his second BIG EAST Championship meet as an exhibition swimmer in his junior year. Wilmoth adds depth in the sprint events throughout the year especially on relays in dual meets. At BIG EAST, Wilmoth swam the 50-freestyle for a best time of 21.02. Posting another best time in the 100-freestyle Wilmoth swam a 45.49. Wilmoth's third event at BIG EAST was the 100-backstroke where he swam a 51.57. Wilmoth swam a time trial in the 50-freestyle and bettered his earlier time to 20.98. Wilmoth was also named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
Sophomore: Wilmoth competed at the Ohio State Invite where he set multiple season bests. He posted a time of 21.33 in the 50-free, 46.42 in the 100-free, and 1:43.51 in the 200-free. Wilmoth also competed in the 100-back and posted a time of 53.85. In dual meet action, Wilmoth was often a member of the Cardinal relays, swimming the backstroke and freestyle legs. Wilmoth led off the 200-medley relay against UK in a time of 25.07 and posted a 47.89 in the 100-free.
Freshman: Wilmoth was able to set two personal best times at the Purdue Invitational in the 50- and 100- free. In the 50-free he finished with a time of 21.29 and in 100-free he recorded a time of 46.32. Prep: Brooks Wilmoth comes to UofL from Hot Springs, Arkansas, where he swam for Matt Adams and the Arkansas Dolphins. Wilmoth finished 1st in the Arkansas State Championship in the 100-free with a time of 52.74 in 2009. His team also won the Arkansas State Championship in 2009. He was All-State and the 50-freestyle state champion. Wilmoth was also a Scholastic All- American in 2009 and 2010.
Personal: He is the son of Kevin and Kim Wilmoth. He was born January 24, 1992. His major is Sports Administration and minoring in Exercise Science.
