Junior: Isaacs had a solid season as a junior. He swam exhibition in the BIG EAST Championship in the 200-IM, 100-back and the 200-back. His dual meet season was highlighted by performances against Kentucky, West Virginia and Pittsburgh. Against West Virginia, Isaacs raced to a second-place finish in the 100-back with a time of 52.99. In the meet against Pittsburgh, he swam the first leg for the 400-medley relay B team and helped lead the group to a second-place result (3:24.41).
Sophomore: As a sophomore, in addition to qualifying for BIG EASTs, Adam swam the 100- and 200-back for the Cardinals. In the 200-back, he placed second against Notre Dame, third against Kentucky, and had a top ten finish and personal best in the Purdue Invitational with a time of 1:52.30.
Freshman: As a freshman, Adam added depth at the back and individual medley corps. He also mans the medley relay chores for the Cards. He qualified for the BIG EAST as a freshman.
Prep: Adam arrived at Louisville from Edgewood where he swam for Scott High School for Jerry Mohr and for the Northern Kentucky Clippers for Jason Roberts. He was the Kentucky State Champion in the 200-IM when he posted a time of 1:53.86 and in the 100-back with a time of 50.47. He is the younger brother of former U of L swimmer Ann Isaacs.
Personal: He is the son of Wayne and Lin Ann Isaacs. Born June 19, 1989. He plans on majoring in exercise science.
