Bio
Sophomore: In her sophomore season, Bradford-Feldman continued to lead the Cardinals in the IM events. She qualified for her second consecutive NCAAs, swimming personal-best times in the 200 IM (1:56.99) and 200 breast (2:10.32), finishing 22nd and 21st respectively. She also qualified for NCAAs in the 400 IM, finishing in 33rd (4:12.41). At the ACC Championships, she recorded top-eight finishes in all three of her individual events, placing fourth in the 400 IM (4:10.11), sixth in the 200 breast (2:13.09), and seventh in the 200 IM (1:59.15). Bradford-Feldman was also a member of the Cardinals’ bronze-medal winning 800 free relay (7:01.62) at the ACC Championships. At the World Championship Trials in Indy, she qualified for the championship final in the 200-meter IM, stopping the clock in a time of 2:14.54. She also competed in the 200-meter breast (2:31.21) and the 400-meter IM, where she placed in 12th with a time of 4:46.32. Bradford-Feldman swam a full schedule at the Arena Pro Swim Series in Atlanta, competing in the 100 and 200-meter fly, 100 and 200-meter breast, and 200 and 400-meter IM. The highlight of Bradford-Feldman's dual meet season came against UNC, where she placed first in the 200 IM (2:01.01) and 400 IM (4:19.53), second in the 200 breast (2:16.72), and third in the 100 breast (1:04.41). At the UofL Invitational, she posted wins in the 200 and 400 IMs, while finishing in second and fourth respectively in the 100 and 200 breast.
Freshman: Bradford-Feldman made her presence felt almost immediately on the collegiate scene for the Cardinals. She qualified for NCAAs and finished 19th in the 200 IM (1:57.15), 31st in the 400-IM (4:12.27) and 29th in the 200-breast (2:11.09). She scored 77 points at the ACC Championships. She was fourth in the 200 IM with a 1:57.48 and fourth in the 400 IM with a 4:07.89. She qualified for finals in the 200 breast and finished fifth with a time of 2:11.55. At the Arena Pro Series in Indy, she qualified for finals in the 100-meter breaststroke (1:12.60), finished fifth in the 400-meter IM (4:50.19) and was 16th in the finals of the 200-meter breast (2:35.64). She was ninth in the 200-meter IM (2:17.19). At Charlotte, she was sixth in the 400-meter IM (4:49.40) and 24th in the 200-meter breast (2:22.33). At the Arena Pro Series in Mesa, she finaled in the 100-meter breast (1:13.16) and in the 100-meter fly (1:02.84). She also finished 12th in the 400-meter IM (4:51.62) and was 23rd in the 200-meter breast (2:39.04). At the US Open Championships in August, she finished 15th in the 200-meter breast (2:34.02), 19th in the 400-meter IM (4:55.55) and 14th in the 200-meter IM (2:18.58). During the dual season, she won the 200 IM versus Xavier, at the SMU Classic, Tennessee, UofL Invitational, Florida State and Kentucky. She won the 400 IM at the SMU Classic and versus North Carolina and Florida State as well as the UofL Invitational. She had a win in the 100 breast versus Cincinnati and in the 200 breast versus Xavier and Tennessee.
Prep: Rachael comes to the Ville from Boca Raton, Florida where she went to school at Saint Andrews and swam for Sid Cassidy and Ramon Walton. Swimming for Saint Andrews Aquatics, she was an Olympic Trials qualifier in the 400 IM with a 4:34.78. She was a Junior Nationals finalist, a National and US Open qualifier and a Grand Prix finalist. As captain of her team, she set the high school team record in the 200 IM and was the state champion in the 200 IM as a sophomore. She was second in the 200 breast at state the last three years. Her best times are 2:00.40 in the 200 IM and 4:19.92 in the 400IM. She has posted a 2:15.77 in the 200 breast and a 1:03.44 in the 100 breast.
Personal: She is the daughter of Amy Bradford and Martin Feldman. Born May 15, 1997 and her major is biochemistry.
