Bio
Sophomore (At Missouri): Grodecki set the school record in the 100 free (43.19) and also ranks fourth all-time at Missouri in the 100 back (47.57) and seventh in the 50 free (20.03). He won eight event titles during the season, including five in the 100 free and three in the 50 free. He won both the 50 free (20.64) and the 100 free (45.38) at the Show-Me Showdown ad claimed top honors in the 50 free (20.70) and 100 free (45.81) against Kentucky and Southern Illinois. He won the 100 free in the Mizzou Invite and against Missouri State (44.90), Drury (45.79) while taking first in the 50 free at the Florida dual meet (20.72) and placing second in the 100 free (45.32). A part of the 400 free relay team at the Mizzou Invite that shattered the school record with a 2:53.70, he also recorded a personal best 47.57 in the 200 free. He clinched second in both the 50 free (20.6) and the 100 free (45.06) against Iowa and Indiana and was runner-up in the 100 free against Tennessee and Virginia Tech (45.35)
Freshman (At Missouri): Grodecki Competed in Mizzou's 200 free relay, 400 free relay, 800 free relay and 400 medley relay teams at the NCAA Championships and swam the third leg of the 800 free relay that set a new Mizzou record (6:26.67). He swam season best times of 20.03 in the 50 free, 43.64 in the 100 free, 1:38.27 in the 200 free and 48.55 in the 100 back. He took 21st in the 100 free and 23rd in the 100 back at the SEC Championships. He claimed third in the 100 free and fourth in the 50 free at Georgia and finished fifth in the 100 freestyle and seventh in the 50 yard freestyle at the Show Me Showdown.
Prep: Grodecki competed for New Trier Swim Club and won the 100 free in 50.92 and placed third in the 50 free and 50 back at NCSA Junior Nationals in 2012. He was named to the NCSA All-Star Team in 2011 and won the 100 free in the state finals as a junior while anchoring the winning 200 and 400 free relay teams for New Trier in 2011. He is an 11-time All-American and his best times are 20.03 in the 50-free, 43.19 in the 100-free and 47.75 in the 100-back.
