2024-25: During the dual meet season, Grant had a first place finish in the 100 breast (53.26) at the First Chance Meet. Against Cincinnati, she was third in the 200 breast (2:00.43) and fourth in the 100 breast. Against Indiana, Grant was fifth in the 100 breast, touching in 53.35. In the Battle of the Bluegrass, he was seventh in the 100 breast at Kentucky. At Missouri, he was sixth in the 100 breast. Against Xavier, he was second in the 100 breast with a time of 57.19.

2023-24: Grant scored 17 points for the Cardinals at the ACC Championships in Greensboro. He was 10^th in the 100 breaststroke (52.71) in the B-final and was 29^th in the 200 breast and 40^th in the 200 IM (1:49.26). In the dual meet season, he started the year out with a third-place finish in the 100 breast against Xavier and was on the third place 200 medley relay team. Against Auburn, he was fourth in both the 100 breast (55.47), and the 200 free relay. He was seventh in the 50 free and was on the second place 400 free relay (3:14.91). Against Tennessee, he was on the sixth place 200M medley relay team and was seventh in the 100M breaststroke. Racing Notre Dame, he was fifth as part of the 200 medley relay and was eighth in the 100 breast. Facing Missouri, he was seventh in both the 100 breast (56.14) and 200 breast (2:05.01) and was on the sixth place 200 medley relay. Against rival Kentucky, he was on the third place 200 medley relay team (1:27.24). In the final dual meet of the season, he was third in both the 100 breast (54.46) and the 200 breast (2:02.30) and swam on the second place 200 medley relay team.

Prep: Grant joins the Cardinals from Marion, Ohio where he swam for Upper Arlington High School and Upper Arlington Swim Club for Mike de Bear. Grant was the 2023 Division 1 Ohio State Champion in the 100 breaststroke (SCY) clocking a 53.54. In 2022, he was the Division 1 Ohio State Champion in the 100 breaststroke (SCY) posting a time of 54.37. In 2021, he was the Division 1 Ohio State runner up in the 100 breaststroke (SCY) going 55.02. In 2021, he was the Division 1 Ohio State bronze medalist in the 200 IM (SCY) with a time of 1:50.04.

Personal: He is the son of Rebecca Withrow and Robert Gooding. He was born Dec. 14, 2004. His major is computer science.
