Bio
2024-25: At the NCAA Zone C Championship at Ohio State, Grace was 31st (223.35) in 1M. During the dual meet season, Grace won 1M with a 207.00 at Missouri. She was 9th in 1M against Indiana (240.98).
2023-24: Grace placed second in synchronized diving on the 3M board at the Last Chance Olympic Trials Qualifier with a score of 211.29. She also finaled on the 3M board where she finished 17th with a mark of 209.15. At the NCAA Zone Qualifier, she made the finals in the 1M with a score of 513.85. In the 3M board she was 14th with a 550.85. She qualified for ACC Championships where she finished 15th on the 1M Board (245.05) and posted a 228.25 on 3M and 188.45 on platform. Against Auburn, she was fourth in the 1M (262.50) and 6th on 3M (117.15). At the House of Championships Invitational, she put up a 246.60 in the consol finals in the 1M and was fifth on platform in the finals with a 224.40. At Missouri, she was fourth in both the 1M (241.95) and the 3M (271.95). Versus UK, she was fourth in 3M (286.95) and sixth in 1M (238.88).
2022-23: Grace qualified for NCAA Zones as a freshman and scored 223.35 in the 1M prelims. At ACCs, she finished 18th on platform with a score of 214.40. She was second at the Kentucky Meet when she scored 181.80 on the platform. She won the 1M at the Cincinnati meet with a score of 265.05 and was second in platform with a 204.90. Against Indiana, she was sixth in 1M (266.03) and seventh in 3M (222.60). In the meet with Tennessee, she was sixth in both the 1M (215.78) and the 3M (227.33). After working hard in the classroom, Grace was named to the ACC Academic Honor and the University of Louisville AD Honor Roll.
Prep: Grace came to UofL from nearby Fisherville, Ky. where she dove for the Louisville Dive Club and Ripfest for Coaches Woody Franklin and John Wingfield. She is a newcomer in diving, having spent much of her prep career as a gymnast. She qualified for both regionals and state in gymnastics. She took first place in multiple events in the 2018 and 2019 Gymnastics Regionals. In her first diving meet, she finished in the Top 10 at the 2020 AAU Nationals in springboard and platform.
Personal: Daughter of Steve and Christi Leonard. Born April 4, 2002. Major is exercise science.
