2024-25: Bianca Costea added depth the sprint corps in 2024-2025 season. In a meet against Missouri in January 2024, she finished fifth in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.33. At Mizzou, she was on fifth place finish foursomes in the 200 Medley Relay and the 200 Free Relay. In the meet with Kentucky, she was on the fourth place 200 Medley Relay team and the fifth place 400 Free Relay. At the Louisville Invitational in February 2025, Bianca Costea placed second in both the 50 freestyle (23.14), the 100 free (50.93). At the Louisville Last Chance Meet, she touched second in the 50 free (22.87 and third in the 100 free (50.63).

2023-24: In the dual meet season, Bianca swam in the 200 medley relay team that touched third against Xavier (1:43.91). In the meet against Auburn, she was fifth in the 50 free (23.44) and helped the Cards win the 400 free relay (3:16.93). Against Tennessee, she helped UofL to a third-place finish in the 400M free relay (1:41.59). In the meet with Notre Dame, she was third in the 50 free (23.64) and third in the 100 free (51.42) and was on the winning 400 free relay team that went 3:21.77). Against Missouri, she was fifth in the 50 free (23.16) and sixth in the 100 free (50.35). Against rival Kentucky, she was fifth in the 200 medley relay (1:41.07), fifth in the 50 free (23.44). and was on the second place 400 free relay team that posted a 3:19.16. In the double dual meet with Indiana and Wisconsin, she was ninth in the 50 free (23.18), 10^th in the 100 free (49.83) and was on the fifth place 200 medley relay squad that boarded a 1:39.76). Against Cincinnati, she finished fourth in the 100 free (50.37).

Prep: Sprinter Bianca Costea comes to the Ville with a host of international experience. She was the World Junior Champion in 50 freestyle with a time of 25.35. The silver medalist at the European championships in 50 freestyle LCM, she also won Silver at the European championships in 4x100m mixed freestyle relay. She won a Silver medalist at 2022 World Junior Championships in 4x100m mixed freestyle relay. She was the gold medalist at 2019 European Olympic Youth Festival in 50 freestyle.
