2009: Started 56 of 61 games for the Cards with most of those starts behind the plate. Hit .246 with three home runs, including two in the BIG EAST Tournament. Also finished with 32 RBI and was 13-of-17 on stolen base attempts. Was 1-for-3 at the plate and scored the game-winning run in the ninth inning of the Cards' 3-2 win over MTSU in the NCAA Regional. Earned All-BIG EAST Tournament honors after hitting .412 with two home runs and six RBI in five games in Clearwater, Fla. Went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs in second round win over Notre Dame. Finished 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in first round win over Cincy. Had an RBI double in the Cards' win at WKU on May 12. Finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in Cards' May 8 win at St. John's. Had a hit, an RBI and scored a run in Cards' win at Villanova on May 1. Picked up an RBI single and scored a run in the win at UK on April 28. Went 2-for-2 with a run scored in Cards' 3-2 win over Pitt on April 11. Finished 3-for-3 win one RBI in win over Panthers on April 9. Was 1-for-1 with two runs scored in Cards' April 4 win over Cincinnati. Went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored in April 3 win over Bearcats. Was 1-for-2 with two RBI and a run scored in March 16 win over Iowa. Delivered a two-run double in the Cards' win at Tennessee on March 11. Bounced back from a slow start at the plate to hit safely in all three games against Bowling Green on Feb. 27-March 1. Was 2-for-4 against BGSU on March 1. Had a pinch-hit, two-run single in the Cards' 8-5 comeback win over Bowling Green on Feb. 28. Walked and scored the game-winning run in the ninth inning of the Cards' 9-8 victory over EKU on Feb. 25. 2008: Batted .333 with 14 doubles, a pair of home runs and 32 RBI, scoring 39 runs and stealing 12 bases without getting caught, playing in 58 games as a sophomore. Walked 22 times and had 13 HBP's with just 29 K's, to lead the team with a .434 on base %. Did not commit an error all season, throwing out 15 of 30 baserunners. Doubled in two runs in win over Seton Hall on May 20. Drilled a pair of doubles in three-hit effort against Georgia Tech in 2008 Athens Regional opener. Pegged three baserunners on the bases, including the final out of the ballgame in game one, and scored a run and drove in what turned out to be the game winner in game two of a doubleheader sweep of Rutgers on May 16. Belted a solo home run on to the terrace in left in win over Ball State on May 13. Went 2-for-4 with two RBI, a walk and his 10th steal of the season in win at IU on May 6. Hit safely in a career-long 15 consecutive games (4/9-4/30), the longest streak of the season for a Cardinal batter. Was 2-for-5, scoring twice in his return behind the dish in the win over Villanova on April 19. Made his first career start in right field, going 1-for-2 with a walk and HBP and a run scored in win at USF on April 11. Scored three runs, going 2-for-3 with a double, stolen base and an HBP in win over St. John's on April 6. Went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and a career-best four RBI in win over EKU on March 25. Doubled and tripled, stealing two bases, driving in two and scoring three in win over UConn on March 20. Was 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and run scored in win over Kent on March 15. Belted a three-run home run in win over Xavier on March 11, the first of his career. Singled twice, stole his first career base and nabbed a baserunner at The Citadel. Went 3-for-4 with an RBI, driving in a run against CSU on Feb . 24. Was 1-for-3 with an RBI and run scored against CSU on Feb. 22.

2007: Worked as the backup catcher to Derrick Alfonso, playing in 22 games and starting five behind the dish. Was 1-for-2 as a pinch hitter. Belted a pair of doubles in just 19 at-bats. Did not make an error in the field, adding a pick off. Won U of L's Academic Award at the College World Series in Omaha. Singled in three trips against Indiana on May 9. Pegged a baserunner at second against UConn on April 14. Doubled, was hit by a pitch and scored in win over Ball State on March 20. Made his first career start against Morehead on Feb. 28, doubling, driving in two and scoring two. Grounded out to drive in his first career run in win over Murray State on Feb. 20. Lashed a single into the outfield on the first pitch of his college career in a pinch hit appearance against Southern Illinois on Feb. 18.

High School: A two-time All-State selection for the Bulldogs, also earning All-District, All-Region and Courier-Journal Metro Player of the Year twice during his four seasons of baseball at Male. Were state runner-up in 2003. His average climbed each of his four seasons of high school ball, culminating in a .510 senior season in which he hit four home runs, drove in 45 runs and walked 18 times. Hit 10 home runs during his prep career.

Personal: Born 1/13/88 to Steve and Barbara Arnold in The Ville. Has an older sister. Majoring in exercise science at U of L. Would like to play pro ball or work in sports medicine or physical therapy after college. His parents have had the biggest influence on his athletic career. Enjoys Playstation, movies and sports in his spare time. The Shawshank Redemption is his favorite movie and he watches SportsCenter. Derrick Lee and Peyton Manning are his favorite athletes and the Cubs and Colts are his top teams. His favorite quote is when hall of famer Lou Brock said "Show me a guy who is afraid to look bad and I'll show you a guy you can beat everytime." Listens to alternative rock, country and rap. His dream dinner guests would be Babe Ruth, Jesus and Jim Carrey. He tied the Babe Ruth World Series record with four hits in a single game.
