LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's soccer team will close out its opening week with a match against IU Indy on Sunday, August 16. The match is set to kick off at 7 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.

Louisville (0-1-0) suffered its first loss of the season in its opener to Nebraska (1-0-0) by a score of 3-1. The Cornhuskers got out to an early lead with their first goal coming in the third minute of the game and were able to stay in control for the remainder of play. The Cardinals' lone goal of the matchup came in the final two minutes when senior Liza Suydam converted on a rebound off the initial shot from Liz Eddy.

Last Season, the Jaguars went 4-11-3 and have returned their leading goal scorer in Keilah Muldrow who had three on the season.
