Twenty-Two Cardinals Named to All-ACC Academic Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville baseball program had 22 student-athletes named to the All-ACC Academic Baseball Team released by the league on Tuesday.
Louisville led all ACC programs in selections, eight more than the second-highest total.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, position players must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests, while pitchers must compete in 20 percent.
Alex Alicea, Jack Brown, Kyle Campbell, Griffin Crain, Tague Davis, Zach Davis, Ethan Eberle, Kade Elam, Aaron England, Colton Hartman, Jax Hisle, Bayram Hot, Peter Michael, Lucas Moore, Casen Murphy, Jimmy Nugent, Zion Rose, Jake Schweitzer, Brandon Shannon, Ben Slanker, Zane Stahl and Ty Starke were Louisville's representatives on the team.
Alicea, Moore and Rose were on the team for the third consecutive year. Brown, Eberle, Hartman, Hot, Michael and Murphy each earned their second straight selection.
The 22 selections continue Louisville's impressive run of academic success that saw the Cardinals extend their streak of consecutive semesters with a 3.0 grade point average to 30 straight this spring.
