The University of Louisville lacrosse team will return to Atlantic Coast Conference play and conclude a three-game road swing on Sunday when the Cardinals visit No. 15 Clemson for a 12 p.m. matchup.

OPENING DRAW
• The Cardinals enter the game with a 5-5 record following a 19-6 win at Xavier on Wednesday.
• Sophomore Reese Whiteman paces the team with a career-high 16 goals and 20 points.
• Junior Negai Nakazawa follows closely with 19 points and leads the team with seven assists.
• Nakazawa has scored at least one goal in nine of Louisville's 10 games, totaling 12 on the season.
• Graduate senior Ashley Osborne leads the team with 17 ground balls and has accumulated 98 in her career, needing two more to become the eighth player in program history with 100 or more ground balls.
• Sophomore Catherine Kangas leads the team with 14 caused turnovers and stands second behind Osborne with 14 ground balls.
• Freshman Olivia Scroggie paces the team with 41 draw controls including a career-high eight in the 19-6 win at Xavier.
• J Pleck (5-5) has posted 89 saves - including a career-high 16 against Vanderbilt while logging 502:54 minutes in goal this season. She recently surpassed the 200 save mark, becoming the seventh player in program history to do so.
• Last season, Louisville posted an 8-11 record after registering the program's first-ever ACC tournament win, beating Virginia Tech 13-11 in the first round. Louisville also earned a 13-12 win over No. 20 Clemson in the 2024 regular season.

2024 Recap: The University of Louisville women's lacrosse team grabbed a 13-12 win over the No. 20 Clemson Tigers, overcoming a five-goal deficit in the second half. Nicole Perroni led the team with three goals, three caused turnovers, and six draw controls.
• Eight different Cardinals scored with several multiple-goal showings. Rian Adkins recorded a career-high two goals and Izzy Seikel had a season-high two goals. Kokoro Nakazawa tallied two goals and an assist and Kylea Dobson, Allegra Catalano, Negai Nakazawa, and Lauren Figas each had one goal apiece.
Scouting the Tigers: Clemson enters Sunday's contest with a 6-4 overall record following a 16-10 loss to No. 8 Florida on Thursday. The Tigers carry a 2-2 mark in conference play with losses to No. 2 North Carolina and No. 13 Duke and wins over No. 9 Syracuse and No. 20 Notre Dame. Clemson is currently sixth in the ACC standings.
• Kayla Macleod leads the team with 29 goals and 30 points while Lindsey Marshall follows with 24 goals and four assists for 28 points. Emily Lamparter carries a 10.58 goals against average.
• Allison Kwolek is in her third season at the helm after being tabbed as the program's first head coach. The Tigers inaugural season was 2023.
