
Cards Win One on Day 2 of The Spring Games

The Cards beat Rutgers 8-2 to start the day but later fell to Radford 3-1
LEESBURG, Fl. – The University of Louisville softball team wrapped up day two of The Spring Games with a win against Rutgers (8-2) and a loss against Radford (3-1). The Cardinals move to 2-2 on the season.
Easton Lotus and Chelsea Mack led the Cards with two runs apiece. Mack finished with two runs on two hits in three at-bats. Bri Despines tripled in the fifth inning, tallying two RBIs as Mack and Lotus scored on the play.
Alyssa Zabala started in the circle for the Cards, earning the win by allowing only three hits and one run in 21 at bats (six innings).
The Cards opened up the game against Radford with a double from Madison Pickens that allowed Lotus to score a run. However, Radford tallied three runs in the second inning that the Cards were unable to bounce back from.
