The University of Louisville lacrosse team will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Ohio State on Saturday at 10 a.m. ET at the Buckeye Lacrosse Stadium.

Last Meeting: April 9, 2024 - Louisville won 22-10 at UofL Lacrosse Stadium. Kokoro Nakazawa recorded a career-high seven goals, leading the Cardinals to their highest-scoring performance since a 22-8 victory over Butler in 2022.

• Ohio State enters Saturday's matchup with a 1-0 record following a 9-5 season-opening win over No. 15 Denver at Buckeye Lacrosse Stadium. The Buckeyes are ranked No. 21 in the Inside Lacrosse poll released on Feb. 10 and have received votes in both the IWLCA and USA Lacrosse rankings.
• Ohio State competes in the Big Ten and was picked to finish seventh in the conference's preseason poll.
• Three Buckeyes were named Big Ten Players to Watch: Brynn Ammerman, Annie Hargraves, and Jocelyn Torres.

• A balanced offensive attack propelled Louisville to the win, with eight different players scoring. Negai Nakazawa, Lauren Figas, and Reese Whiteman each tallied two goals, while Ella Berg, Abby Scully, Maggie McMahon, Erin Nicholson, and Izzy Seikel each added one. McMahon also led the team with two assists.
• Louisville and Cincinnati both recorded 26 shots, with the Cards placing 19 on goal compared to UC's 16. The Cardinals also led in draw controls (13-10) and ground balls (14-13). Nakazawa led with five draw controls, while Ava Coyle had a game-high four ground balls.
