The Cards will look to improve their ACC Tournament seeding ahead of the first round on Nov. 5
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's soccer team wraps up its 2025 regular season on Friday night, hosting Pittsburgh at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET and will stream live on ACCNX.

The Cardinals (5-6-4, 1-5-1 ACC) return home for the finale following a 3-1 setback to Evansville on Monday. Louisville looks to close out the regular season on a high note, while Pittsburgh (5-6-4, 1-4-2 ACC) enters on a three-match unbeaten streak and is still seeking its first road win of the season.

Friday marks the 10th all-time meeting between the programs, with Louisville leading the series 7-2 overall and 4-1 at home. The teams last met in 2024, a 3-2 Pitt victory in Pittsburgh.

Louisville's defense has been a hallmark of consistency throughout the year, holding opponents to just 15 goals through 15 matches (1.00 GAA). Redshirt junior goalkeeper Alex Svetanoff has played every minute this season, recording 47 saves and a .758 save percentage. Offensively, the Cardinals have seen balanced production from Chase Vazquez, Michael Lee, and freshman Quinton Wilson, who have combined for nine goals and four assists.

Pitt is led by graduate midfielder Arnau Vilamitjana, who has totaled eight goals and three assists this year, including a hat trick in a 4-2 victory over Syracuse.

The match carries ACC Tournament implications, with both teams vying to improve their seeding heading into next week's opening round. Round one of the ACC Tournament will begin on Wednesday, November 5 at campus sites of the higher seeds.
