Cardinals in 11th After Second Round of Tar Heel Invitational

Veronika Exposito and Millie Cottrell both shot 3-over-par 75 in the second round
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The Louisville women's golf team finds itself in 11th place after the second round of the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational Saturday afternoon from Finley Golf Club.
The Cardinals shot 18-over-par 298 and are 27-over-par through the first two rounds of the Tar Heel Invitational.
Veronika Exposito and Millie Cottrell led the Cards as they both shot 3-over-par 73 in the second round on Saturday. Exposito is tied for 36th overall at 6-over-par and Cottrell is tied for 47th overall at 8-over-par.
Bailey Burkett carded a 4-over-par 74 in the second round and continues to lead the Cardinals on the leaderboard. She is 4-over-par through the first two rounds and is tied for 22nd overall.
Emree Cameron rounded out the scoring with an 8-over-par 78 in the second round on Saturday. She is tied for 52nd overall at 9-over-par for the tournament.
