Bailey Burkett was the top individual finisher for the Cards
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The Louisville women's golf team finished the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational in 12th place following the third round from Finley Golf Club on Sunday. The Cardinals were 56-over-par 897 for the tournament after a final round 30-over-par 310 on Sunday.
Bailey Burkett was the top individual finisher for the Cardinals on the weekend. She finished tied for 35th overall with an 11-over-par 221 for the tournament. In the final round on Sunday, she was 7-over-par 77.
Veronika Exposito finished tied for 43rd overall at 13-over-par 223 for the weekend. She was also 7-over-par 77 in the final round on Sunday. Emree Cameron was one stroke behind Exposito as she finished the tournament at 14-over-par 224 and tied for 47th overall.
Millie Cottrell rounded out the scoring for the Cardinals this weekend. She finished tied for 63rd overall at 19-over-par 229. Cottrell was 11-over-par 81 in the final round on Sunday.
This was the final tournament of the fall season for the Cardinals. They will be back in action in February as the spring season begins with their home tournament down in Florida. The Cardinals host the Moon Golf Invitational in Melbourne, Florida on February 15 for their first tournament of the spring.

Veronika Exposito finished tied for 43rd overall at 13-over-par 223 for the weekend. She was also 7-over-par 77 in the final round on Sunday. Emree Cameron was one stroke behind Exposito as she finished the tournament at 14-over-par 224 and tied for 47th overall.

This was the final tournament of the fall season for the Cardinals. They will be back in action in February as the spring season begins with their home tournament down in Florida. The Cardinals host the Moon Golf Invitational in Melbourne, Florida on February 15 for their first tournament of the spring.
