Cardinals Tied for Sixth After First Round of Mason Rudolph Championship

The Cards have three players in the Top 20
FRANKLIN, Tenn. — The Louisville women's golf team is tied for sixth overall after the first round of the Mason Rudolph Championship on Friday. As a team, the Cards shot 1-over-par 285 in the first round and had three players within the Top 20 of the leaderboard.
Bailey Burkett, Veronika Exposito and Amy Hodgkins all put together an even-par 71 in the opening round and the trio is tied for 20th overall. Burkett and Hodgkins both had four birdies each on the round while Exposito had three birdies on the day.
Madison Moman was one stroke behind as she carded a 1-over-par 72 in the opening round. She is tied for 30th overall and also had four birdies in her opening round.
Isabella Anderson was 3-over-par 74 in the first round on Friday. She had three birdies on the round, including two of her final three holes of the day.
Millie Cottrell rounded out the scoring for the Cardinals, as she competed as an individual in this tournament. She was 5-over-par 76 with two birdies on her round.
The Cards will be back in action for the second round on Saturday. Tee times begin at 10:20 a.m. ET as the Cards look to move up the leaderboard. Fans can follow along with the live stats here or on our social media channels.
