Cardinals in Second Place after Two Round of Fighting Irish Classic

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The Louisville women's golf team had a very successful day after the first two rounds of the Fighting Irish Classic on Saturday.. The Cardinals are in second place overall after 7-over-par 291 in each the first and second round from the Warren Golf Course.
Bailey Burkett was the top Louisville player on the leaderboard as she is tied for seventh overall. She had a 1-under-par 70 in the first round and a 1-over-par 72 in the second round to be even-par 142 heading into the final round. She had five birdies over her two rounds.
Veronika Exposito and Amy Hodgkins are both tied for 13th overall at 3-over-par 144 after the first two rounds. Exposito was 2-over-par 73 in the first round and 1-over-par 72 in the second round with six birdies over the two rounds. Hodgkins was the opposite with a 1-over-par 72 in the first round and 2-over-par 73 in the second with five birdies on the day.
Competing as an individual, Millie Cottrell was tied for 20th at 5-over-par 146. She was 4-over-par 75 in the first round and 1-over-par 72 in the second round with six birdies.
Madison Moman is tied for 27th overall at 8-over-par 149. She was 5-over-par 76 in the first round and 3-over-par 74 in the second round. Isabella Anderson rounded out the scoring for the Cardinals. She is 69th overall at 17-over-par 158 over the first two rounds.
