LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville women's golf team is set to close the fall season as they head back to North Carolina to take part in the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational. This is the third time in the last four seasons the Cardinals will take part in the event. Louisville is one of 15 teams competing in the event and the field includes six teams ranked in the Top 25 and 10 teams ranked in the Top 60.
The Cardinals are coming off their best team finish of the fall season at the Pirate Collegiate Classic. Louisville finished third overall in a field of 15 teams at 6-over-par 870 for the tournament.
Louisville will have the same five players hit the course this weekend that competed at the Pirate Collegiate. The Cardinals lineup for the Tar Heel Invitational will include Madison Moman, Veronika Exposito, Millie Cottrell, Bailey Burkett and Emree Cameron.
