Cards Host No.11 Virginia on Saturday for Senior Day

11 seniors will be honored at Saturday's game.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's lacrosse team returns home to play top-ranked conference foe, No. 11 Virginia this Saturday, April 6. The opening draw is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. ET and will be televised nationally on the ACC Network.
SENIOR DAY
This Saturday, 11 seniors will be recognized for Louisville's annual senior day celebration. The players honored will include Sara Addeche, Kylea Dobson, Kokoro Nakazawa, Sydney Kirchenheiter, Allegra Catalano, Madi McKee, Liz Kennedy, Ashley Osborne, Olivia Toll, Nicole Perroni, and student-assistant Chloe Fisher.
NATIONAL STAGE
Saturday's game against Virginia will mark the third and final nationally televised game for the Cardinals this season. These three games were all home contests being featured on the ACC Network. Louisville is one of nine schools in the country to have multiple streamed games and one of five schools to have three or more games on national television in the regular season. North Carolina leads with five games followed by Boston College with four games on either ESPNU or ACCN. Syracuse, Virginia, and Virginia Tech have three scheduled games apiece on the national stage.

NOTING THE CARDS
- Kokoro Nakazawa, a senior from Yokohama, Japan, has tallied 41 goals, 19 assists, and 60 points so far this season. She has recorded 10 hat tricks in 13 games in 2024.
- Nicole Perroni is dominating on both sides of the field this season. She is first in the conference (fifth nationally) in caused turnovers per game with 2.54, first in the ACC (ninth nationally) in free position goals per game with 1.15, and second in the ACC in ground balls per game with 2.54.
- Perroni is on a 49-game goal-scoring streak which ranks first in program history and is the longest active streak in the ACC.
- Sara Addeche has recorded 107 saves and a .402 save percentage in 669:13 minutes at the net this season. She ranks first in the ACC and 12th nationally in saves and second in the conference in saves per game this season with 8.23.
