Cards Travel to No. 25 Duke for Final Road Game

DURHAM, N.C. – The University of Louisville women's lacrosse team (7-8, 2-5 ACC) will play in their final road game on Friday, April 12 against No. 25 Duke (9-6, 3-4 ACC). The opening draw is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET and will be aired on the ACCNX.

The Cardinals are 2-9 all-time against the Blue Devils with a 0-4 record at Duke. Last season, the Cards upset the Blue Devils in the regular season with a 14-13 win but fell short, 11-12 in the first round of the ACC Tournament.

KEY PLAYERS
- Kokoro Nakazawa has tallied 50 goals, 21 assists, and 71 points in 15 games. She leads the team in all three categories. She is eighth in the ACC in assists (22), second in free position goals per game (0.93), third in goals (50), and second in points (72). Her 72 points ranks third nationally and her 50 goals ranks 10th in the country.
- Nicole Perroni has tallied 38 goals and eight assists on 92 shots so far this season. She is first in the conference (seventh nationally) in caused turnovers per game with 2.47, first in the ACC (13th nationally) in free position goals per game with 1.00, and first in the ACC in ground balls per game with 2.60. Perroni scored four goals each in the win over Ohio State and in the loss at No. 12 North Carolina, totaling 26 career hat tricks.
- Sara Addeche has continued to guard the net through 15 games. She has recorded 124 saves and a .407 save percentage in 789:13 minutes at the net. She ranks first in the ACC and eighth nationally in saves and is first in the conference in saves per game this season with 8.23.
ABOUT THE BLUE DEVILS
- No. 23 Duke fell to No. 6 Notre Dame, 19-7, Saturday afternoon at Arlotta Stadium in South Bend, Ind. Five different Irish tallied hat tricks and were led by Kasey Choma and Arden Tierney with six points each. Katie DeSimone tallied three of Duke's seven goals while Caroline DeBellis added a goal and two assists.
- DeSimone leads the country in points this season with 77 and is first in the ACC in goals (57), points per game (5.13), shots per game (7.80) and shots on goal per game (5.67). DeSimone owns 265 career points and 190 career goals to rank fourth and third, respectively, in program history.
