
Women’s Golf Heads South for Clemson Invitational

This will be the final tournament of the regular season for the Cardinals
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville women's golf team is heading south as they get ready for its final tournament of the regular season this week. The Cardinals are traveling to Clemson for the Clemson Invitational, held at The Reserve Course at Lake Keowee. The tournament begins on Friday, March 22 and will conclude on Sunday, March 24. The Cardinals will be one of 16 teams competing this weekend in a field that consists of four Top-25 squads.
The Cardinals last tournament was in Augusta, Ga., as they competed in the Valspar Augusta Invitational. As a team, the Cardinals finished in 16th and were led by senior Hana Ryskova. She finished a team-best tied for 23rd overall at 1-over-par 217 for the tournament. It is the second-straight tournament and fourth time this season Ryskova has been the top individual finisher for the Cards. She tallied a tournament best 2-under-par 70 in the final round, her team-best 12th round under par this season.
The first round of the tournament is set to start at 9 a.m. ET on Friday with a shotgun start from all holes. Fans can follow along with the live stats here or our social media channels for updates throughout the tournament.
