Praasterink Adds 3M Board to Qualifications at NCAA Zone Diving

Praasterink, Leonard and Sneden all made finals
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville diver Else Praasterink earned herself another spot to compete at the NCAA Championship at the NCAA Zone C Qualifier Friday afternoon at the Ralph Wright Natatorium.
Praasterink finished ninth on the 3M with a score of 609.10 to advance, ending her day on a strong note, scoring a 63.45 for her Inward 2 ½ Somersault Tuck. Grace Leonard finished 14th with a score of 550.85.
In the prelims, Praasterink scored 330.85 for third, and Leonard finished the round at 17th with a score of 277.85 to advance to the finals. Lindsay Gizzi scored 261.95 to finish 22nd and did not advance to the finals.
In the men's 1M action, Adam Sneden finished 15th with a score of 608.05 in the finals. In the prelims, Sneden scored 300.40 for 17th and Raymond Winn IV scored 220.00 for 31st, which was not enough to proceed to the finals.
Cardinals will resume competition tomorrow at 11 a.m. as the men and women will both compete from the platform.
