Cardinals Look to Continue Fall Success at Martha Thorn Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's tennis team will embark on their second tournament of the fall as they head to West Virginia to compete in the Martha Thorn WVU Invite. The tournament will be a flighted event with a compass draw, giving each player multiple opportunities to compete in both singles and doubles competition.
The tournament will begin on Friday at 10 a.m. and run through Sunday afternoon with the full draw yet to be announced. The Cardinals will compete against individuals from five other schools including Western Michigan, Penn State, Maryland, Duquesne, and West Virginia.
UofL is coming off a successful showing at the Miami Invitational where the Cardinals won a total of 15 matches on the weekend. Alice Otis, Lika Peresypkina, and Elena Noguero all went undefeated in singles action with three wins apiece.
